A linguist, anthropologist and, originally, a teacher in higher education having studied in Birmingham and Leicester, England.

Among several other posts held during my career I have been: a communications trainer at the World Maritime University (United Nations); an international presentation skills trainer for Mercuri International in the Nordic area and central Europe, language and communications teacher for Luftfartsverket (The Swedish Aviation Authority), a certified examiner for the Cambridge University Board (First Certificate and Proficiency levels), a trainer in international customer service for Goldmann Communications, a coach in public speaking for the Heinz Goldmann Foundation in Geneva.

Since 1996 I have been running my own company Colin Moon Communications AB based in Stockholm.

Originally specialising in presentation skills training, I am now on the professional speaker circuit talking about Swedish business culture, Swedish leadership, Nordic management, Scandinavian business cultures, global business communication and international meetings.

I was given the award as best male speaker of the year in 2012, the award for best female speaker going to Mia Thörnblom.
